POINT LOOKOUT
LIGHTHOUSE
This is a poster depicting what the area looked like around the time the lighthouse was built. The "clock shaped" building was a hospital. North of there is Fort Lincoln, a POW camp for Confederates.
Over 3200 men died, from starvation, tainted water, and freezing cold temperatures.
The Point Lookout Lighthouse is actually two structures built together. Notice the 2 front doors.
Inside one of the upstairs rooms of the Lighthouse. Notice the "perfect orb" to the lower right.
During a night investigation, captured an eerie looking face looking out of this window.
